Being close to the University & AKH can be an advantage depending on
the kind of studies. The nightlife consists of dozens of student frequented pubs, cafe's,
etc. Due to its location ca. 500 öS/month can be saved on public transportation. All rooms are equipped with telephone and answering machine. Due to its solid construction and its noise protection (double-doors) you will enjoy a quiet privacy. Each room has a color TV with 14 programs, for language training there is a channel each for english, french, italian, spanish, polish. In addition the Premiere channel ( a cinema type channel) is included. Every community has a washing machine and a micro wave in the kitchen. The co-habitants: We insist, that only sociable and compatible students live in the community. Each section is equipped with a common area which is ideal for discussions, tea, coffee,.. Often times students come together for common activities (theatre, sports, music, excursions). Longterm friendships are often commonplace in this friendly environment. Someone that arrives alone in Vienna or wants to improve the language skills has also contact possibilities. Visitors: Contrary to other student homes visitors are always welcome in our house. It is not possible that visitors stay for weeks. We ask that visitors are reasonable with their length of stay and after a few days they should discuss with the owner. Price: ca. 3000 - 3500 öS/month + 200-400 öS utilities including water/electricity../month. Centrally located: 5 minutes walking distance to the university or central Vienna, bus and tram-stations are only 100 m away, U-Bahn (Metro) station also in 5 minutes walking distance. |
